Process Overview

How DomainKnox works for buyers and sellers

A straightforward marketplace workflow designed for clarity. No outcome guarantees are implied unless documented in a signed agreement.

For Buyers

From discovery to inquiry

1

Explore the marketplace

Browse domains, website-included listings, and developed assets using search and filters.

2

Compare listing types

Understand whether you are acquiring a domain only, a site, or a broader digital package.

3

Review sample details

Listing pages outline pricing format, included components, and transfer considerations.

4

Submit a buyer inquiry

Provide budget range, buyer type, and asset interest so discussions begin with useful context.

5

Proceed case by case

Terms, due diligence, and transfer steps are handled individually based on the asset and parties involved.

For Sellers

Presenting an asset for sale

Third-party seller listings require DomainKnox review and verification before publication. After preliminary approval, DomainKnox may require approved nameserver configuration or an approved DomainKnox sales landing setup before a listing goes live on the public marketplace.

Prepare listing information

Document what is included, current hosting, registrar details, and any dependencies a buyer should know about.

Submit a seller inquiry

Use the sell-with-us page or contact form to share asset type, expected range, and timeline. Submission does not publish a listing.

DomainKnox review and verification

DomainKnox reviews third-party seller submissions for fit, accuracy, and verification requirements before any public listing is approved.

Nameserver or sales landing setup

When required after preliminary approval, sellers may need to point the domain to DomainKnox-approved nameservers or use an approved DomainKnox sales landing setup. DomainKnox provides approved instructions when they apply.

Review presentation options

Listings can be framed as domain only, website included, or developed asset depending on what you are offering.

Coordinate transfer planning

Transfer logistics vary by asset. Brokerage support through KnoxBrokers may be available when appropriate.
